Danielle McKeefry - Lawyer
I am a Lawyer in the corporate team in Belfast. I studied law with French at the University of Dundee and graduated in 2016. After university, I trained at a large corporate firm in Belfast, qualifying into their corporate department in 2019. I joined Baker McKenzie as a Junior Lawyer in 2021 and was promoted to Lawyer in 2022. As part of the corporate team, I have a varied workload and I particularly enjoy working on multi-jurisdictional M&A deals for international clients. Given the multi-jurisdictional nature of my role, I was selected to attend the EMEA Corporate Practice Group Meeting that took place in Amsterdam last year. Colleagues from all offices across the EMEA region attended the three day event, which involved practice group meetings, training sessions, and of course trying the local delicacies. It was a great opportunity to meet colleagues in person and forge better working relationships.
Aside from billable work, I am a member of the Baker McKenzie LGBTQ+ committee. As a committee, we plan various events throughout the year from office quizzes to bake sales. Our key event is attending Belfast Pride; last year over 60 people walked in the Pride Parade for Baker McKenzie.
