Paul White - Senior Manager
I am a corporate lawyer and a Senior Manager in the corporate team. I graduated from law at Newcastle University in 2013 and with an LL.M. from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge in 2014. After university, I completed a training contract at a leading Irish corporate law firm in Belfast. Upon qualification, I joined Baker McKenzie as a Junior Lawyer in September 2016. I was subsequently promoted to Lawyer in 2019, Manager in 2021, and Senior Manager in 2023.
I have a broad corporate practice, with experience of private & public M&A, corporate reorganisations, and equity capital markets work. Outside of billable work, I have management responsibility for a group of junior solicitors and paralegals. I regularly mentor junior members of the team as they seek to take the next step in their careers towards securing a training contract and qualification. Currently, I am also mentoring A Level students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds as part of the Firm’s Baker Student Award, as well as engaging with aspiring law students via the QUB Pathway Opportunity Programme.
