Fionnuala Cullen - Lawyer
I joined the corporate team in November 2022, having previously spent 10 years at another international law firm, where I qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive. I graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in Law and French in 2009 and obtained a Master's in Public International Law from the University of Leiden in 2011, and so being part of a law firm with such a recognised global practice is a great fit for me.
I have a broad corporate experience, and at Baker McKenzie I work very closely with the Corporate Reorganisations department in London. Since joining I have worked on a number of matters including coordinating the cash repatriation aspects of a multijurisdictional joint venture transaction, the intragroup reorganisation of a Spain-based fashion group, and a legal-entity simplification for a US-headquartered engineering company.
Since joining Baker McKenzie I have been particularly impressed by the Transactional Group's knowledge of legal technology and how the Belfast team works seamlessly with lawyers across the globe as part of the "One Global team" approach. There is a wide range of support available across the team and this has been invaluable to me as I start the next stage of my career within the Baker McKenzie.
