Lauren Lamont - Lawyer
I am a Lawyer in the commercial team in Belfast, specialising in commercial contracts, data protection, and intellectual property. I qualified as a solicitor in 2018, completing my training contract at a leading Irish law firm in Belfast and working there as a solicitor before moving to Baker McKenzie in 2021. As a member of the commercial team, my role is varied and diverse.
During my time at Baker McKenzie I have worked on a range of interesting matters including advising on framework agreements for the provision of software and other IT services, drafting and updating external privacy documentation, and advising clients on the roll out of new products and services. Working at Baker McKenzie means working with top tier clients and the focus on innovation within the Firm creates lots of opportunities to think creatively.
Outside my day to day role at Baker McKenzie, I am a member of our Wellness Committee and I have helped to organise training sessions and events on a range of wellbeing topics. It is great to work at a firm that prioritises wellness of employees and puts in place a range of initiatives to support this.
