Maeve Carson - Senior Manager
I am a corporate lawyer and Senior Manager in the corporate team. I graduated from law at Queen's University, Belfast in 2011. After university, I trained at a large local law firm, qualifying into their corporate department in 2013. I moved to Baker McKenzie in 2016 as a lawyer in the corporate team, and was promoted to Manager in 2018 and Senior Manager in 2020. As a member of the corporate team, my work is very varied. My main areas of interest and principal workstreams are venture capital and large-scale multi-jurisdictional M&A deals. I am also a member of the Baker McKenzie Gender Committee. The biggest highlights of my career at Baker McKenzie have been my three-month secondment to our Chicago office and winning Star of the Year!
